About Depths Magazine

Depths Magazine is an impact travel magazine that focuses on “going local” whilst travelling, seeking local experiences and understanding local communities; all whilst making a positive impact during travels. Founded in 2022, Depths Magazine aims to not only be a magazine platform for any and everything going local related but also a publication that promotes responsible tourism and the preservation & celebration of local culture.

All these started as a childhood dream often talked about during recess time, between Co-Founders: Jin & Damien. They often spent their time during recess and after classes in Secondary School talking about creating something that allows for the promotion of local culture. This childhood dream of theirs would then (through a few iterations) become Depths Magazine, an impact travel magazine that promotes every and anything about going local when travelling, whilst making positive impact.

Depths Magazine has since been apart of several capacity building impact projects that helps to engage and promote local communities within Singapore with the goal of bridging capacity building into the region.
